Reminds me of those themes from those 1960's sword & sandals movies.

nothing will ever compare to the MNF theme, of course, but that's not bad

I want them to use the theme song that they played at the end of the NCAA final 64 Tourney.

"One Shining Moment" seems a bit out of context for Sunday Night Football, but I admit that I love the song.

Yep thats a great song.
They can play it at the beginning of the telecast and show the day's highlights while playing that song.

Ugh, I hated the old theme. I'm not a fan of this new one, either.

Regarding "One Shining Moment", perhaps I'm mistaken, but aren't the song's first four words "The ball is tipped"?

No matter. Passes are tipped all the time.
We really need an effeminate song to kick of NBC's game of the week.

Oh, so the song can be about Michael Vick's passing attempts. OK, I see the context now.

And here I thought this was going to be Pink's "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night." I think that's the one we're dying to hear.
Bless his heart, but you can recognize a John Williams piece from a mile away. I love John Williams, but this is classic him. There is one point in this clip where I can actually visualize the Star Destroyer overtaking Princess Leia's ship over Tatooine.
Wow, first time I'd heard that. Seems to be influenced a bit by John Williams, particular some of the droid war music from Phantom Menace. Cool, though. Not what I expected.

It kind of reminds me of the 4th and Inches theme.

Comes up as 'John Williams' in winamp...
Heh. I'm not surprised. I'll look into it. It does indeed sound like Williams, but I didn't think it actually was him.
