Did anyone apply AND get accepted to the beta test?

I have had very few big companies respond to me regarding beta tests. I apparently am on the short list with Microsoft, and get responses every time, but other than that, zilch.

If anyone has tried the game, how good is it?

I preordered months ago. Of course, I preordered by a place near my work an hour away. Thank God, it's only a $5 deposit, because I'm not driving an hour to pay the rest to get the game.

Anyway, any idea on the release date at this point. I really, really can't wait for this one.

Yes, I'm in the Beta test. It's going to be a good game. Woo is me though, with my 56k and this latest patch. . .

I would suggest you download and go to work.

It took me 90 minutes with a cable modem to get all the patches when I first got it. Brutal!

Damn, I got into the beta a month or ago, and I wasn't impressed at all by it.

Of course I'm seriously burnt out on the whole MMORPG scene, and I don't really think SWG has much to offer in the way of differing from the others, yeah it has some little stuff, but it just seemed "bleh" to me.

Of course it appears most folks are liking it, so it could just be me. ;)
