1) Which NFL QB married the daughter of former Vikings FB Bill Brown?

2) Who was the last defensive player named NFL Season MVP?

3) Which 2 Tight Ends were selected to the NFL's All-Decade team for the 1990's?

4) 1998 was the first time 4 players topped 2,000 yards from scrimmage in the same season. Name all 4.

5) Which 2 players from the All-Time NFL team played at Division 1-AA Mississippi Valley State, one of who played when the school was Mississippi Vocational?

6) Name the 3 players involved in the "Miracle at the Meadowlands" in 1978. (For those unfamiliar, this is the famous fumble by the Giants that was picked up by the Eagles and returned for a touchdown, when the Giants just needed to down the ball and run out the game clock).

for the record, I am looking for the following three players:

NY QB:
NY RB:
PHI CB:

Obscure 14th-round draft pick, 1961 ... Among first of fast, tough, mobile defensive linemen ... Noted for clean, but hard-hitting play ... Specialized in quarterback "sacks", a term he invented ... Innovative, quick-thinking, flamboyant ... Unanimous all-league six straight years, 1965-1970 ... Played in eight Pro Bowls ... NFL Defensive Player of Year, 1967-1968.

DOB: 12/09/1938 ... Birthplace: Eatonville, FL ... High School: Hungerford (Orlando, FL) ... Drafted: 14th round (186th overall) by Los Angeles Rams in 1961 ... Uniform Number: #75 (also wore 81)

Marmel

Well, the last name is Jones, but I do not see him referenced as 'Deacon' anywhere. His name does start with a 'D' though....

Yeah David Jones.

I did some research and never saw the Deacon reference. That is good information, thanks cuervo!

And as always, excellent job on answering all the questions.

Honestly, it was not my own question, and I am not all that familiar with pre 80's football or the players, so I do a bit of research before I post the questions, and.....well, you get the picture.

Understandable. Keep up the good work, these are good exercises.

What gets me is how many countless times I must have seen the Miracle in the Meadowlands clip (being from Philly and everything), and I couldn't even remember that Czonka was in the backfield....
