Hey everyone,
Hopefully someone more tech savvy can come in and help me with setting up my new home theatre system. I bought a Sony BDVE3100 5.1 Home Theatre system (specs (http://www.sears.ca/product/sony-bdve3100-1000-watt-3d-blu-ray-home-theatre-system/657-000010454-BDVE3100)) to go along with my BenQ W1070 projector.
The problem is the home theatre system only has two input ports : One optical audio input, and one analog audio input.
I'm wondering if there are any switch/splitters that could allow me to have 5.1 sound on various devices (Satellite reciever, PS3, other consoles). Would it be possible to hook everything up with HDMI cables on a switch like this one (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?p_id=5557) and then have the HDMI output to the projector and the Optical audio output to the home theatre system?
Hopefully someone can help!
