I'm intrigued from what I've played thus far. I'm not crazy about the 'so-and-so wants you to reset so he can join,' but at least the reset is checkpoint-based and not from the start of the level.

I'm kind of surprised, since the AI is supposed to fill whichever characters you don't use in solo mode, that they don't 'caretake' in online and get replaced by human characters (and likewise replace human characters) as they drop in/out.

Would the other 2 people who got codes like to hook up at some point this weekend and play this together?

Sounds like SackAttack has the beta as well. The 4 of us could get together and have some fun.

Yep, I've the beta as well. I've fooled around with 4-player online with people who have randomly joined my game, but we can set up a friends-only game if I have everybody's PSN ID.
