When Youth Squad sucks, people say try Keeper since that means only one category need be good. When Youth Squad gets better (mine is now solid), do you still try for keeper, or do you now go after a field player? I have not pulled for this week, so I need some thoughts on which one you "experts and future experts" go after before I try my pull tonight. Thx.

Once your squad is up to Solid, I'd say pull an outfielder unless you are training keepers.
Then again, my squad is only inadequate, so what do I know :)

first things first, how many virgins, donkey's and on legged midgets have you sacrificed? That is the main factor in a youth pull.
Seriously it seems that it is just a crap shoot, but since you are up to solid, you should be safe to do whatever.

I don't know, I've been contemplating if I should try one, but then I think what if? What if I had been destined to pick a 17 year old solid scorer? It's thoughts like those that tell me to pick outfielder.
Do you need a tender? If you do pull a tender. If not pull an outfeilder.

And how many virginal one-legged donkeys?

I have a solid system, have always pulled outfield and have crap to show for it, literally. Yet there are people on this board who have pulled really nice players with only inad squads. I do recommend that until inad you should probably try to pull keepers but I don't think it will matter a lot in the long run. You may grab an inad keeper or two and the $10K they sell for but that's it.

No, no, no, you have it all wrong. It's how many virginal one-legged midget donkeys. Huge difference...

I've always pulled outfielders, and that is because I train defenders. My youth squad has produced three of my current defenders (one starter and two trainees).
It's a lot cheaper to pull an 18 year old solid defender than it is to go out and buy one. :)

I've always pulled outfielders, mainly because I didn't know any better. Interestingly, I pulled a 17-yo inad. playmaker with a weak youth squad, and a 19-yo passable/passable wingback with an inadequate youth squad.
Also interestingly, now that may youth squad is passable, I pulled my absolute worst youth pull ever last week -- disastrous and wretched across the board.
