I installed Windows XP last week. Included in the program is Microsoft Messenger. Now, I keep getting these pop-up messages on my friggin computer.

I've supposedly uninstalled the program, but I keep getting the messages. I've tried to disable it, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions on turning this damn thing off?

Go to Control Panel..and then either 'Services' or some kind of 'Admin' panel, and then 'Services'...you'll see a window popup that has the option to 'Disable' the network messenger...
