I've read some things in a lot of different places about a PS3 price drop. I think if/when it does, I'm going to buy one along with the Show. Does anyone have a good feel if one is coming and if so, when?

If it goes down to $300, it's worth picking up. When I bought mine I justified it by saying I was going to spend $250 on a Blu-Ray player anyway.

E3 is in May, just a few months away. Got my money on the Sony keynote speech. The various gift card deals that have been going on are, IMO, a way to spur sales between now and then without making it official.

Better than most. Except if you want to analog out each specific audio channel. The new players out this year are still retail for 250/300 for the entry level model. The PS3 is a good value. Annoying thing I have read is that you can't or couldn't integrate it into a Harmony type remote.

True. The PS3 using Bluetooth for its remotes.

If/when the PS3 drops I will probably also buy one specifically to play The Show and God of War. I need to start my rationalizing now.

If it hits $300, I'd consider it primarily as a Blu-Ray player, and secondarily as an opportunity to check out some games.

It has been rumored for awhile that it was going to drop sometime this year (April/May) although, Dell has had deals on and off where you could get it alot cheap (got mine for $330 a few months back)
