I have a blackberry curve and was going to use my company's blackberry server to get my company email into the curve.

However, my company no longer allows new users to the blackberry server.

My questions to the Indian help desk is


If I cannot get on the corporate blackberry service, how do I get my corporate email?


The help desk has not been able to help or point me to any docs etc. on how to configure. I admit, this may be due to my own lack of blackberry intellect.

Can someone answer my question and give me the (best) options?

I don't have a work Blackberry curve, I bought my own, it's not configured to be able to tap into their BB mail server either. I just use webmail.

I suspect this is probably similar here, that the idea is "if they wanted you in, they'd have given you a work blackberry that's configured for what you need it for..."

I dunno, that was my assumption when I got my mine.

I get mine through my school's e-mail by putting their server and then my username and password. So, I guess if you knew that, you could get e-mail that way.

The only problem is that the e-mail isn't instant. Sometimes it's pretty quick, but sometimes I get it 10 minutes after it hits on the computer. Does anyone know if there any way to get instant e-mail through an Exchange server?
