Several years ago I was BigJohn&TheLions. With permission, I dumped the old moniker to avoid a woman I had a relationship with who had joined the board to check on what I posted.

Today I was chatting with a friend who was lamenting about her situation with men and asking if I have had any luck (no.) She mentioned a friend of hers was getting married on V-day to a guy she met online. She tossed out a couple things about her and I said it was similar to a woman I was with a few years ago, then jokingly asked if her name was ____ ____.

Guess what? :lol:

So I have been friends with this woman for six years. I bitched to her about this woman, but apparently never mentioned a name. She probably complained about me to her too! To make it even stranger, when I was with her she heard about a woman from her ex-boyfriend that he said he was dating. She had an uncommon Nigerian name. Turned out to be my ex-girlfriend (who had realized he was a psycho and shot him down several times.)

Strange how in NYC it still can seem like Mayberry, USA.
