Just felt like gloating for a moment...I'm out here in Salt Lake City for the NCAA tournament, where my alma mater Central Michigan University upset the Creighton Bluejays in the first round of the tourney for our first tourney win since 1975! It was a great game to be at, and I was very proud to be there. Our small group of fans made just as much noise as a Creighton section that was about five times as big as ours. Now we just need to do the same thing to Duke on Saturday :D

I had Cent Mich in my pool, so I was screaming with you (from my big, fluffy couch, of course). But I have Duke kicking ass on Saturday, so our love-fest has to end here, ice. Sorry. It's not you - it's me.

Grats :) The Tar Heel in me has become a huge Central Michigan fan for the next 2 days ;) That must have been a great game to attend.

Actually, I have Duke beating us too in my pool. But I think we have a chance, Kaman needs to play a lot better, and if Duke plays the way they did against CSU, we have a chance. The officiating in that game was some of the worst I've ever seen at a sporting event. Lots of bad calls went both ways, but, of course, Duke ended up getting the majority of them.

How did the Heels do in the first round, Radii?
Oh... Wait, they aren't in the tourney? NORTH CAROLINA? One of the top programs in the country. Ouch. That's gotta hurt.
:D
Just a little good-natured ribbing from a casual Duke fan.

They'll be back next year. And really if UNC only has two truly down years while transitioning out of the Dean Smith era I can't complain at all. Look at UCLA and Alabama football.
How does it feel to realize, if Duke could have beaten the lowly Tar Heels in Chapel Hill on the last day of the regular season, they wouldn't have to run through the hell that is the West and Kansas and Arizona, and would have gotten that cushy #2 in the East seed? :D
