It's rare to find someone who appreciates the sounds of Wesley Willis. I saw him live. Twice.

An extreme fear of water is a symptom of rabies? What a weird symptom.

My favorite was when he did a live version of "I Whipped Superman's Ass" which was exactly the same as "I Whupped Batman's Ass" except for the chorus.

Rock over London, Rock on Chicago. Wheaties: Breakfast of Champions.

There are zombie movies that start like this. Or is it vampire movies?

An extreme fear of water is a symptom of rabies? What a weird symptom.

From what I can tell from looking this up, the extreme fear comes from two things: the encephalitis has, of course, a negative effect on the psyche of individuals with rabies, so they're not altogether "with it" (there is a reason why rabied animals--and people--are referred to as raving mad, after all). The second thing and more pertinent to the sympton above is that in the later symptomatic stages, the victim experiences paralysis of the jaw and throat muscles. So he/she can't swallow, and would probably choke to death if water was forced down their throats. It's really a fear of any liquids.

Most interesting to me is that the foaming of the mouth is a result of this--the foam is from saliva gathering in the mouth for days without being swallowed. The victim can't swallow the saliva.
