Allright I have advanced our game to the beginning of 1993. Here are few things to note.

We didn't have anyone retire. Which is unfortunate because Percy Foley looks pretty awful at this point. Our 11 million dollar man could maybe be a backup at best at this point. That was some serious bad luck.

Our scout is still under contract, but Coach Full Contact needs a new contract.

If we decide we want to cut Foley we will save 9 million under the cap, but it will create 2.2 million in dead cap space this season, and 4.5 million in dead cap space next season.

We will have a similar situation if we trade The Ox. We will save 9 million by doing so, but it will cost us 1.5 million in dead cap this year and 3 million in dead cap next year.

One obvious candidate for cutting is WILB Jeremy Kolb. He can't ever be anything more than a backup for us and we would sane 2 million by cutting him.

What's the status of LT Wooldridge at this point? How much cap is he eating?

Wooldridge is costing us 5.6 million against the cap. There is obviously nothing we can do about that considering he is injured. The good news is atleast for now his ratings look pretty much intact. So he may still be able to help us when he comes back next season.

primelord, I did the files at the same time... but on first blush, there doesn't seem to be any material difference. I didn't have any retirements either. What should we do?

Go ahead and post your files. Like you said I doubt there is much difference, and if you already went through the coaching phase we can just go from there.
