Mike1409,
Can you reformat your post? I'm afraid it is gonna cause my parser to choke. It is expecting to see something like 1. Teamname or 2) Teamname. The parser looks for the number then a delimiter and space, then the team name. Any extra info like last week's ranking or their record needs to come after the teamname.

Here's just a general question since I don't vote, but why would anyone vote for UConn? They've beated Akron, Maine, Duke, Temple, Pitt and UL. The only decent team they faced (Virginia) they lost. The only reason they beat UL was because they cheated. I noticed them getting some love in polling community (not just this site) and I have no idea why.

Their win against Temple is tainted too...

Its largely based on how the voter approaches the poll. Some, like myself, view it as a power ranking of sorts. Others, like a few ive talked with in private, view it more as record bases system. I would argue 4-2 Florida is better then 7-0 Kansas, while others would say how can they be better if they have a worse record.
So Uconn gets a lot of love for being 6-1, regardless of the opponent. Just like Hawaii, just like Kansas, and even my hometown Arizona State.

I don't discount their win to UL as cheating and that gave them a boost back into the top 25 for me. However, most years they wouldn't sniff my top 25 with that strength of schedule, but this isn't a usual year.

UL lost to Syracuse at home, Utah, Kentucky, they are hardly a coup. And UConn needed to cheat. Oh well.

I still view UL as a better team than what some of the alternatives for that slot played against.

There are teams that have played similar or worse schedules than UConn's, but there is no team that has been that succesful against a schedule like that. Its not easy to compare them to a team like, say, Georgia. Its impossible to compare them to a team like Notre Dame; pretty much every team ND has played so far is better than any team UConn has beat.
Still, like somebody said, you play to win, and its not easy to go 6-1 against any schedule.

I haven't had a chance to compile the list yet. I'll get this done before the kickoff of the games tomorrow.
