110 remaining out of the original 2810 in the $3 rebuy tournament. I'm currently 20th in chips, guarenteed at least $50.87 at this point but of course the big money is much deeper down the line.
Tourney #63957728, I'm radii on stars if anyone's bored, etc!

Moved to table 36.
I'm below average in chips now, 37th out of 62, but more than enough to play with of course. Guarenteed $84 now.

how many rebuys did you use? I usually don't use the rebuy strategy that a lot of people use. I also never have had success in the two rebuys I played.

I set a limit when I play usually. Currently my strategy in these is to immediately rebuy to get to 3000 starting chips. I'm willing to do one "double-rebuy" if I bust out to get to 3k chips again, and I'll always do the add-on assuming I'm alive after an hour. So I limit myself to $15.
In this tourney I only spent $9, I bought one immediately, never busted, and added on.

Very nice.. That is the limit I have set on myself basically. I hate when people rebuy about 40 times, and go all in about every hand.

oh I hope to end up at those tables, those are the ones that give you a chance to get a 15-20k stack in the first hour. And those are the tables where I'll occasionally allow myself one extra 'double rebuy' if I bust in some weird way twice early and believe that the table will cotninue to be that crazy for awhile.

QQ the 3rd time. I normally wouldn't have necessarily pushed there, but I was hoping that having done it 3 times in 4 hands he would have called with some weaker hands.

I like "Jokerstars" personally. 90% of the time I'm watching the info tab and completely ignore chat. I always check the chat when I move to a new table though to see if there's anything weird going on that tells me about a new player. Also whenever I put a bad beat on someone, or, my favorite situations, are when I make a call or raise that's basically mandated with weak cards b/c of the situation and win, I always like to see who bitches a lot. :D

dola, on a different board its probably pretty defensible, but against an early raiser with two broadway cards on the board it doesn't make a lot of sense.

What are you talking about? Raising 23% of the time and having a VP$IP at 36% isn't bad... ;) That is only through 56 hands I've seen.
Radii
10-21-2007, 07:58 PM
He seems to have done a pretty decent job of protetcing his chips. Much of that high VPIP and PFR come from when I first got moved here and he had about 2x as much as anyone else at the table. Devil42 and Angel strike me as much more threatening players though.
