My best friend has been busting her ass off for months now, training for a 3-day, 60 mile Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, despite not being in the best of physical health.

Unfortunately, she still needs to raise some more funds or she won't be able to participate in the walk.

So I thought I'd ask the good people of FOFC for their help. You can donate online at:

https://www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=202297&supId=85778124

Any amount helps, no matter how small.

I know I'll be donating again (she did this last year as well).

Thanks, one and all. :)

Wait, you have to have a certain amount donated before you can participate? Here, I thought they would take all the money they can.

They do take the money and it goes towards breast cancer awareneness and research, etc. but apparently you have to raise a certain amount to be able to do the actual walk.

Given how the Chicago Marathon went down, she might want to be careful, if she's not in the best physical health.
