Fresno plays at UGA tomorrow night in the opening round of the NIT.

There's plenty of seats left right now, good ones too.
Including the same section we had for women's season tickets behind the visitors bench, as well as the floor section (aka about the first 6-8 rows) on the opposite side of the court.

My question is basically whether Fresno has much of a chance to pull the upset on the road? That'd be worth paying to see & my son is on spring break this week so we could do a father-son tournament game thing (we've got GT-BC baseball coming up Friday & wrestling on Saturday, and he just got home from a couple of days of historic battlefield stuff w/ my wife, so it's not like there isn't stuff already going on this week).

By the same token I can't think of much that'd be worse than having to endure a UGA win at home surrounded by some of the most consistently obnoxious fans I've ever encountered, people who seem stunned at the very notion that someone would buy a ticket & cheer for the visitors. Last time we were there I was on my best fan behavior, only cheering my team & avoiding ragging on them (and with a player returning from an alcohol suspension the opportunity was definitely there) and still ended up with two nasty confrontations & nearly ended up having to deck some 60 y/o who had the misfortune of being married to an idiotic shrew.

So, if you're more familiar with Fresno than I am (which would take damned little), should I consider going or just skip it?

Click here to see the view from the seats I'm talking about, in case it matters:

I'm a former season ticket holder. I just couldn't justify paying $3500 a year to retain the same quality of seat that I had once they moved to the new arena, and instituted a PSL on top of the grand larceny that I had been dealing with for the previous decade. I went cold turkey, and haven't been to a single game at the new arena. I have listened to a couple games on the radio, and seen the last few minutes of a televised game this year.

My thoughts are that I'm frankly amazed that we're in the NIT. Especially being in the NIT without having a home game. We typically get to host our NIT games, because we will fill the arena every time. I guess we ended the season on a bit of a high note, but all in all I believe the Bulldogs weren't all that talented this season. SO, no I don't think they have a chance. Then again, I've only had about twenty minutes worth of exposure to them this season. You might have as much.

If you go, make sure you hold your nose as you enter that sewage facility.
