Well, I finally broke down and got DSL. After 10 years of Dial up I can't believe I waited so long. I guess I'm stubborn.

If you think that's great, wait 'till you trade in your horse and buggy.

I made the change about a year ago, and even when my DSL drops at least once a week, I'm happy to have it.

I'm WAY outside the legitimate distance limitations, so I don't even complain about the outages. It is just such a pleasure, compared to what I had grown used to.

I got the "horse and buggy" quote when I announced that I had scored broadband as well.

I love my DSL, I swear I'll never go with anything else unless forced to with a hot firey poker in the eye.

I had DSL for your years or so. Big mistake.

The cable internet service they offer here is so much better (and cheaper to boot). I should have made the switch sooner.

DSL is great if you have no alternative... in *most* areas, cable is the best alternative.

I'm hoping to try out this FIOS Verizon is touting soon..
