His positive is for ephedrine, not for steroids or any muscle growth drug. Ephedrine is used mainly for asthma and as bronchdilator and Morris claims that he had to take it for that, and that he has used it before and reported it to the NFL. Of course not sure if it's true or not, by now the NFL has banned him for 4 games.

From the wikipedia:
Ephedrine (EPH) is a sympathomimetic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sympathomimetic) amine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amine) similar in structure to the synthetic derivatives amphetamine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amphetamine) and methamphetamine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methamphetamine). Ephedrine is commonly used as a stimulant, appetite suppressant, concentraton aid, decongestant and to treat hypotension associated with regional anaesthesia. Chemically, it is an alkaloid (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alkaloid) derived from various plants in the genus Ephedra (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ephedra) (family Ephedraceae (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ephedraceae)). It is most usually marketed in the hydrochloride and sulfate forms. Ephedrine was once widely used as a topical decongestant (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Topical_decongestant) and as a bronchodilator (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bronchodilator) in the treatment for asthma (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asthma).

Not so much anymore. A rather weak defense, IMHO.

Predictable defense, though. Right from the standard playbook for the busted-with-bad-stuff.
