Howdy all,

It is time once again to kick off the college football season with the FOFC Top 25 poll. As in year's past, it is open to all, but I do ask that if you do decide to participate, please try to get a poll in each and every week during the season, for consistency's sake.

To submit, simply list 1 to 25 your rankings of the teams. I reserve the right to disallow any polls which are obviously out of whack.

The initial poll are due by 12 noon, Central time, on Thursday, August 31st. The first games are on Thursday night, and I plan on releasing the initial poll before the first games kick off.

We had outstanding participation last year, and I hope to carry that success through to this year. I'll have my submissions released later today.

For me, I do think last year has a big effect. Texas deserves to be #1 until they lose. Ohio State also deserves a top ranking.
