Anyone got a take on this russian movie from a couple of years ago? Will there be an english soundtrack? It sounds like the third part of the series is being filmed now with a bigger budget and in english.

I have no idea what to expect in a Russian Made Vampire movie. I know what to expect in a Hollywood made Russian Vampire Movie.

Should be fun to see the differences between Hollywood Vampires and Russian Vampires. I would think that Russian Vampires would be a little more true to the old stories myself. Hollywood Vampires seem to have a little too much "Buffy-ness" in them lately.

I purchased the Russian release on DVD. A decent enough film. Leaves plenty of room for the other two.

I posted about this last week when it came out in NYC (http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?t=47309&highlight)

I saw the DVD after missing at the TriBeCa film festival last year. Still, I'm going to catch it at the theater tonight.

I have read very positive reviews of this movie and very negative reviews of this movie. I will go see it. I am interested enough.

What are you talking about? Are you saying this movie is already out on DVD?

I did a search for the DVD and I am not comming up with anything but some movie about a law student at a city morgue??? (One released in 1994 and another in 1998)

Can anyone help me out?

Can anyone help me out?it is not on DVD in the USA. It's been on DVD in Russia for a while though.

Yeah, you can buy a legal copy of the movie in it's original Russian format (I think it's Region 3). It has English subtitles.
