I'll be getting this one. I've enjoyed the last few versions despite their bugs.

Considering March Madness is out today and we have to wait until 11/7 for the gem that's usually College Hoops, I just thought now was the time. :)

Damn that's a pretty cover. Look at that Carolina Blue. Though i'd have rather seen May or Felton on the cover. And yeah I suspect I'll have this by Christmas.

I'll be getting it for XBOX, can't wait. Hopefully they added some damn zone offenses though.

No, I havent picked it up yet. I may but will wait until NCAA 2k6 comes out.

FYI, Toys R Us is doing their annual Buy 2 Get 1 Free special in their stores on Oct. 23-29. Good time to stock up on 3 games for the price of 2! I may snag Stubbs the Zombie :)

Agreed.. This is the one franchise where I've liked 2K Sports better than EA...

But, this is not a "buy on release day" for me.. probably on my amazon wishlist for christmas again...

Yeah, for me too. 2K5 was very enjoyable and a lot of fun to play, despite all the bugs. Plus, it was $ 19.99...

Yeah, I'd like to hear some impressions as well.

I'm going to play it some more, but it's taking some getting used to after playing the 2k games for awhile. I figured worst case scenario is that I sell this game when I buy the 2k game in a month.

Guys over at Operation Sports are working on rosters. You have to register (but it's free). I don't think they have any yet.

Personally, I also think College Hoops 2k6 is the best in 2k Sport's lineup. They do one hell of a job with that series every year.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm really looking forward to this game, but I'll wait until January to get it for the X360. It comes out just a few days before my birthday, so that will be something good for Mrs. Eaglesfan to get.

I'll probably wait until I see what I plan to do as far the 360 goes. I decided to wait and see how NHL 2K6 turns out for XBox360 so I might as well wait for this one too. I did play the hell out of College Hoops 2k5 (took New Orleans to back-to-back the National Championship! Took awhile too (simmed most games))

I think my gaming purchases are complete until the 360 comes out. I'll go with what I have til that point. (outside of FM2006)

Even though I'm getting an XBox360 for Christmas, I've already bought Madden 2006, NHL 2006, and NBA 2K6 for the XBox. I'll probably get College Hoops 2K6 for the XBox on or near release day, too. I don't know which of those games I'll get for the XBox360 also. My guess is that the only launch title I'll get will be Project Gotham Racing 3, and I may pick up one of the sports games a month or two later. I'm just too impatient to wait for the XBox360 to get my console basketball fix. :(

The interesting thing is that if it wasn't for Katrina moving me out of my place for 6 1/2 weeks, I would probably be getting College Hoops 2k6 as well for the Xbox. However, I haven't been able to play any Xbox games for the last 6-7 weeks, and therefore Madden and NCAA will be fresh for me when I go back tomorrow and for the ensuing months when I would normally be getting burnt out on them by November. I think they will keep me busy until I get my XBox360 (if the store with my preorder reopens and still has my preorder) and Madden for the XBox360. I'll also be picking up NBA 2k6 for the Xbox360 as soon as it is out (assuming again that I still can get my Xbox360 preorder.)
