For me I would have to go with this
1. History Channel
I watch this quite a bit, although not on a regular basis. It depends on the subject matter. I hardly ever watch any of the reality stuff they have done. I mostly like to watch the documentries.

2. Fox
I normally only watch the simpsons and king of the hill reruns during the week, and sunday nights.

3. Discovery Channel
American casino is one of my favorite shows. I liked american chopper and I still watch it sometimes, but it just seems like they are stuffing it down our throats. They are becoming less and less like the old discovery channel, and more like TLC.

4. Comedy Central
Futurama or Family guy, whichever show is in the 10:00pm slot. I will watch it whenever there is an Anime on that I like.

5. Food Network
This network is hit and miss for me, I dont know when any of my favorite shows come on, except for the Iron chef. It is on too late for me to watch the whole thing every night though, and conflicts with futurama. I also enjoy watching Alton Brown, Unwrapped, and The special docuementries they have on on different contests, festivals, and events.

Those channels make up 90% of my viewing. I also watch comedy central some, and it would be number 6. After that though, there isnt any other stations that I watch with any regularity.

Hrmmm...

NFL Network (NFL Total Access/Playbook, or whatever Lions specials may be on)
Fox (Simpsons, 24, House MD)
Spike TV (CSI and ST:NG re-runs)
Comedy Central (Daily Show, Southpark)

That's pretty much the majority of our TV watching here at H_B Estates. I also TiVO PTI every day, but that's it for ESPN.

By # of programs watched? Probably the Starz network.

By sheer amount of time spent viewing? Dodger games on FSW2, far and away.

I'm sure this will come as a surprise to everyone, especially those who have been in chats with me:
1. Cartoon Network ;)

I think it's hard to categorize the major networks- I have shows I don't miss or will tape (CSI, House, etc). Plus, they do get a lot of the major sporting events.

The rest I spread pretty evenly across a lot of stations: TNT (movies, old X-Files), Spike (old MacGuyver, DS9, CSI), ToonDisney (they get some good older cartoons like Garfield and the 90s Spiderman and XMen), and quite a few others like ESPN, TBS, FoodTV, WGN, etc.

ESPN
ESPN2
ESPNEWS
CBS
Food Network

Just watching 1 baseball game (or one sporting event) on ESPN or ESPN2 should be enough to propel them ahead of most channels. Plus there is PTI and SportsCenter. ESPNEWS because I like the Hotlist and on occasion will be up late enough to catch Mike and Mike in the Morning.

CBS because I watch The Amazing Race, Survivor, the occasional CSI: Insert City Here, and Numbers.

Food Network, Iron Chef and Good Eats.

NESN for the Red Sox is nearly the only tv anyone in my house watches. Like 85% of the time it's on NESN. The Rest is FOX for Simpsons and Sienfeld reruns and ESPN

1) Noggin
2) Food Network (I watch Good Eats, wife watches Rachael Ray and a couple others...and it's our default "if nothing is on turn it to _" channel)
3) NBC (wife watches ER, Apprentice, Law & Order and I watch The Office)
4) Fox (NASCAR, Arrested Development, and Idol for the wife)

1. FSC
T2. History/Discovery/Discovery Science/National Geographic (I don't really distinguish between these, just always check to see if anything good is on)
T2. ESPN (and all conglomerates)
4. Fox (Family Guy, American Idol, Seinfeld)
5. NBC (various sitcoms, The Apprentice, Criminal Intent)
6. TBS (Seinfeld, occasional movie)

DVR really has changed the way I watch TV, though.

edit: USA has to be squeezed in there, somewhere, for the SVU & Criminal Intent re-runs... probably in-between NBC and TBS)

In no particular order:
Food Network (like DD, it's our "if nothing else is on" channel, and my wife likes Rachel Ray (I find her annoying) but I like Good Eats.
ESPN
Noggin (My son is addicted to 64 Zoo Lane)
TNT (Law & Order Reruns, my wife watches Charmed reruns)
Spike (CSI reruns)
WB (wife only...she's got issues with too many shows on that network)
NFL Network
History International (the basic one is starting to get repetitive, I used to watch it all the time)

1- Food Network. Wife would leave me for Alton Brown in a heartbeat.

2- HGTV. Interchangeable with #1, actually.

3- Nickelodeon.

4- Cartoon Network. If my 4 year old is watching TV, it's either Nick or CN.

5- Fox. Finally I get control of the remote, but only to watch "24" and "House".

We watch next to no TV at the Fonzarelli household. But what we do watch is on:

1. PBS (Sesame Street and Thomas the Tank Engine)
2. Comedy Central (Daily Show)
3. SciFi (Battlestar Galactica)
4. Whichever station is showing a St. Louis Cardinals or Green Bay Packers game.

I watch absolutely nothing but my wife makes up for it. I think her list would be:

1. HGTV
2. TNT (hours of L&O)
3. CBS (or whichever network station that has those crime/drama shows)
4. Food Network

Hmm. I only watch Lost, West Wing and ER weekly. However, watching football related programming may cause other networks to rise.

22 hours of Lost
22 hours of WW
22 hours of ER

Oh, and I sometimes catch Apprentice.

Maybe 20 hours of HBO movies. (I get it free)

Figure 16 games of MNF - ABC gets 48 hours of so per year.

Same for ESPN for SNF.

Figure about 8 games each for Fox and CBS gives them 24 hours each.

Toss in about 12 total hours per year for each of Cartoon, Comedy Central and SciFi.

NFL Draft, pro bowl, college bowl games, the occasional basketball game, and the occasional sportscenter gives ESPN probably another 50 hours a year.

Looks like:

ESPN - 98 hours per year (Football)
ABC - 60 hours (MNF and Lost)
NBC - 54 hours (ER, Apprentice occasionally, West Wing)
Fox, CBS - 24 hours annually
HBO - 20 hours annually
Comedy Central, SciFi, Cartoon - 12 hours a year.
