Looks interesting if they can pull it off... Still a ways to go before release though, so it's hard to say what will be cut.

Very interesting, but I'll want to see the final product before I buy.

On the other hand, I preordered Madden and NCAA the other day at the store. I'm just hoping that they get the completion percentage/catch problems fixed.

lol, i like how he says, "This game is more realistic than previous blitz." But like 10 seconds before that a guy rips off someones helmet and hits him on the head. lol

Have fun. Not sure I'd rather play madden on PS1 era hardware instead of the X-Box tho.

What? ps1 era? The psp looks similar to the ps2, just on a much smaller scale. Tiger Woods is beautiful....

I just like to be able to play games while in transit. Like tomorrow visiting family for Mother's Day. :)

I saw one in the store the other day, and it does look amazing!

The only thing that would stop me from wanting to play Madden on it is that I *think* it won't have a franchise mode. However, the system does look very nice and is slowly starting to weaken my resistance.

I know that this thread should be about the new Blitz game, but thanks for reminding me to reserve NCAA someplace. Only two months to go! As for Madden, it won't do me any good to reserve it here in New Orleans, because I'll be living in Pennsylvania by the time the game comes out. I just hope stores up there around Pittsburgh are still taking reservations by the time I get there. I can't even do a mail order, considering that I don't know what my address is going to be yet. Yes, Madden might be a bit of a problem for me around its release date.

I think you're right.. that's the only downfall I see, but honestly.. I rarely get past many seasons of Madden and MVP - text sims do that for me. :)

Once the 2nd generation games start coming out for the psp, I think sales will really take off. All game developers are waiting for is a new battery to be developed by Sony to take full advantage of the system. Right now, they are using about half of it's processing power. It also has a cool sleep mode that lets you pause a game mid action and then come back at a later time to finish your game. Perfect for me with two kids. :) I can't wait to show it off tomorrow.

That sleep mode is awesome! That would be perfect for playing in my office between patients and pausing quickly when a patient does show up. It looks like the new clinic I'm going to be working at (2-3 days/week) only has a 60% show rate (which is pathetic considering it is a state run free care clinic, but I digress.)

Am I just an idiot, or what was the xbox slowdown bug?

Amen. I hit the power button on mine last night and forgot I had a Tiger Woods game going. :)

In one of the camera views, the game would slowdown. This wasn't a problem if you didn't use that camera view (which I didn't.)

I used the default...I am just going to assume this wasn't the slowdown one.

Order it online and have it shipped to a Pittsburgh area store.

Why worry? Madden will jamming up all aisles, there'll be so many copies on the shelves.

Yeah I can't imagine needing to preorder Madden. The local game stors get several shelves worth of copies.
