When viewing a roster with the Player Editor....are Alt. positions the same codes as the the players regular position?

Most D. Ends have '12' as their alt, which would make them punters.

no, the alt positions are for the position groups. I forget exactly how the correspond, but it's something like 1 qb, 2 rb, 3 fb, 4 te, 5 wr, 6 c, 7 g, 8 t, 9 k, 10 p, 11 de, 12 dt, etc. Sort by alt position and you will see how they are grouped.
