I was in the market for earphones. I wanted to splurge on something higher quality than I was used to but not ridiculously. After googling and reading reviews, I decided to go with a sound-isolation design which seems to be all the rage now. I went with a Sony model and for $85 am pleased with the design, comfort and most importantly sound.

However, in my googling, I came across some crazy stuff. I don't know how this company can justify the price of these earphones:

If its by shure, its probably worth it.. they do make high quality equipment..

My friends bought a Shure microphone, and that thing makes even MY voice sound.. Pleasing? Yeah, thats the word.
