Is there any way to build history in FOF like you can in OOTP?

In OOTP, you can run a lot of seasons before taking over a team.

Can you do that in FOF or can you at least have no human controlled teams?

In short, no.


What you can do, however, is start with a team, set everything to "Scout Control" and sim as much as you want.

There are two drawbacks to this method, however. First, if you have hiring/firing on, then you run the risk of a firing. Second, you won't get to pick which team you want when it is time to start playing--you will have to take over whoever you already control.

That's pretty much what I do. I take over the Redskins... turn the hiring/firing off, and sim for 20 years or so, imagining that Danny Snyder dies and I buy the team. :D

I think Al Davis will die before Dan Snyder...but you never know :D
