I've set the global option to have the coach/scout reset the gameplan prior to each game. However, when I click "Recommend" in each gameplan prior to the game, changes are still occuring.

Would these changes still have happened if I had just gone ahead and simmed the game? I'm paranoid that I'd have a less than "optimized" gameplan for the new opponent.

I'm pretty sure the coach resets the gameplan just before the game is simmed.

I agree with ole Triple F.

The game does not 'scout' until after you hit the simulate button. That's one reason the pre-game offensive and defensive comparisions are not adjusted for injuries or (rarely) player moves. The game doesn't 'know' about them yet. And yes, that's even though the scout screen for a specific team lists the injuries correctly. I've noticed the comparison is a week behind when an opponents' star QB is hurt and not playing. the Comparision will still think he's playing, even though the injury list correctly has him as OUT.
