Heading to the symphony, (Christmas concert with all-Atlanta Gospel Choir....AMAZING show), then down to the Georgia Dome for the State Semifinals. If any of y'all are bored this evening, you can watch the Tucker Tigers via live webcast at http://www.gpb.org online. Reception was pretty good last night. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00pm, but last night's game didn't get started until arond 6:40pm. Check the AAAA message boards at http://www.gavsv.com if you have problems. If you haven't been following and want to catch up, check out my real-life Tucker Tigers dynasty. (http://dynamic2.gamespy.com/~fof/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13256&perpage=50&pagenumber=1) Digamma and I will both be there cheerin' 'em on!

GO TIGERS!!!

Updating in case anyone wonders but isn't watching ...

Statesboro 14 -- Tucker 7 at the half

Tigers led early on a 65 yd run but allowed Statesboro to score twice to take the lead. Tucker coulda/shoulda tied the game just before the half but QB D.T. McDowell fumbled near the goalline & Statesboro recovered for a touchback.

Halftime stats show Tucker outgaining S'boro 153-87, but two turnovers have cost them dearly.

Same as college, but they get the ball on the 15.

This is the first time I've seen the new overtime rules in use in Georgia.

This doesn't look good. (Guess I should say sound good, as I can't see anything with my 56k, I can hear it though!).

Man, this is more stressful than any HS game I ever played in personally, that's sad. :D

Final: Statesboro 27 -- Tucker 24 in OT

Tucker got a FG, Statesboro gambles & converts 4th & 1 from the 6.
Tucker stops them twice from the 1 yd line but Statesboro pounded into the end zone on 3rd down.

One heck of a football game. And that's an understatement.

Was A.J. Bryant the name of the QB for Statesboro? I think it was, can't remember.

Just curious, watching the Elite 11 show on ESPN2, and A.J. Bryant is one of the kids there.

Interesting show.
