I have been home for about the past week without anything to do, so I have been devoting WAY too much time to this game. But I am now entering the year 2015 with the Chargers. I had them into playoff contenders by 2005 and Super Bowl contenders by 2006. But one thing after another happens and they dont make the playoffs from 2003-2009. Come 2010 I finally make it to the Bowl game but lose, went to the playoffs 2011-2013 but eliminated each year. Now in 2014 and team sucks again. I dont get real in depth with the game like most here, but it looks like I should. Point is I suck at this, which is why I think I love it so much.

I haven't gotten too deeply involved in a career yet, but I hope I have the same experience - with one or two bowl wins thrown in, of course.

Yea I havent gotten too involved. I go through the processes and pretty much sim out the season. But I take it back a little, apparently we dont suck. Started 2015 11-0, finished 15-1. My guess is a first round playoff exit.

what do you mean you suck?! Sounds like you have done a pretty good job. Take the last 15 years of the real Chargers. You seem to be doing as good, if not better than your real counterparts.

For me, it's not about winning 5 straight bowls by any means. I prefer to try and get as far as I can, and still show a decent profit each year.

Your forced to work a bit harder because you want to sign your draft picks. If I'm doing well in a sim, I'll trade my picks for picks 2 years later so I can catch up cap wise

Oh, come on. Using the lord's name in vein should be reserved for people killing thousands in the name of god, or preachers stealing money from other people who need it. THAT is a sin. The issue with the title of the thread is just bad judgement.

I do agree that it wasn't appropriate for the forum though.
