I just wanted to let anyone who may be interested that if you get a chance, check out the show Wrestling the Mississippi on Discovery Times channel. It's a very interesting show about how the Mississippi is trying to change course, and all of the efforts to control just such an event. It's intriguing to think about the effect it would have on the economy if the river were able to change course. Thinking about New Orleans without a port boggles the mind.

Urgh. If New Orleans doesn't have a port, I don't have a job. Of course, that'd probably be the impetus to get me into another job that has a better correlation to my degree.

I work in a ship chandler's office. If there are no ships in the area, there's no office, and that means there's no Pumpy in the office.
