Thanks for the bump, ae. I almost completely missed this thread. I had to go with the Jayhawk for mascot, otherwise I would have gotten top 5 (my guess was going to be the Leprechaun).

As for the New York thing- it's not that people like New York. They just know everyone else would have picked that. Then again, Shorty, if you had gone with "except NY", Chicago would have been a pretty good runaway and then LA. You'd have to exclude those cities- then you might get an interesting mix.

I didn't realize there was so much love for Tom Tupa. I was going to pick him but then thought "nah, he's too old- no one will pick him".
