First, sorry to post 2 separate SPAMs in one day, but I know there are a few aspiring programmers here. Well, I am releasing a pretty powerful software development kit (SDK) for PureSim today (Also, it will be 100% compatible with Total Pro Baseball 2004).
The SDK will allow the skilled VB/SQL/HTML developer to write add-ins that plug directly into PureSim and Total Pro. Your add-in can even be downloaded and installed by users from directly in the game, so you gain exposure to thousands of PureSim players.
Add custom reports, sabermetric analysis modules (win shares would be cool!), or anything else you can think of.
I think this could result in some pretty cool mods. What I envision is doing the same thing for text sims that mods did for FPS (Obviously this SDK is just the tip of the iceberg)
Here is some early documentation on the SDK (there is a link to a sample VB project as well) (http://www.puresim.com/SDK.aspx) (Database docs are included there as well)
Here are some screen shots:

A sample add-in built with the SDK

Simple sample add-in (demonstrates that you can show custom dialogs from within the add-in)

Another sample add-in
