Welcome to the restart of the Shaw Shanksters dynasty. Which is based on Hattrick. I have stopped and started this dynasty a few times. The big reason being I lose interest or I get to busy. This time I feel ready to keep this dynasty going for a while. It will soon be time to introduce the major characters that work and play for the Shaw Shanksters.
But first let me give you some general information about my team.

Today before my friendly match with White Sox Pride I would like to explain why my economy has been booming lately. Today I will explain mercantilism, or a favorable balance of trade. You may have heard the word before (I don’t know if I even spelled it right).
Hattrick Mercantilism
This economic strategy does not apply to successful teams. Teams that are division 4 and up will probably have no use for this. Basically what you do is export more players than you import. By doing so this should give you a stable economy so you can establish a solid training program.
First off invest the full amount into your youth squad. To be successful you must get as many sellable youth pulls as possible. Next look at your players. Establish your franchise players, trainees, and expendables. If you have five wingers you can afford to sell at least one. So at this time you should be trimming the fat from your team. You must have enough depth in case your team gets hit with injury or bad form.
Now lets look at the players that are your trainees. They must be in their teen years otherwise you are wasting your time trying to train anyone 20 or older. For a new guy you want to train something that will be profitable for your team in the long run. Stay away from set piece and passing training. They will get you nothing early on. Playmaking, keeper, scoring, and defending are all good choices when you are establishing a training program. All are very profitable and can make your team better in the long run. Keeper training is very quick and gives a good payout. While the other skills can be a little tedious to train the payoff is slower, but much bigger. If you have no players that are younger than 20 and have any of the skills I mentioned before then you will have to spend a little to make a lot. Don’t be afraid to overpay for young trainees it will all payoff when you want to be a contender.
Next take a look at your series. If you are getting your ass kicked week in and week out, and you don’t have any decent trainees you might want to sell some of your older better players. Don’t be afraid to get demoted. If you are not going to place in the top 4 in your series just concentrate on your training program. Get trainees and train them do not worry about winning. You will win once you train up a few midfielder studs or whatever else you are interested in training. Remember to mix up a few weeks of stamina training especially if you train playmaking.
Once you have a training program established and at least a passable youth squad it is time to start getting rid of players that will not help your team. Now take a look at your trainees. Are you in need of money? If you think you can make it without selling one of your trainees, then wait. It may be tempting to sell one of your trainees early on, but if you continue to train your player until he becomes elite then one sale could change around your economy.
While you are doing all that stuff do not buy more players than you sell. You may be addicted to the transfer wire, but stay away at all costs. Unless you are selling you should not be looking at the transfer wire at all. Unless you are getting more trainees or trying to be more competitive with your team. Remember older is better when you are trying to win your series. Look for experience when you are looking for a quick fix.
I’m tired of typing I was going to give some examples from my own team, but I’ll save that for Thursday.

Shaw Shanksters @ White Sox Pride
In this match I was just messing around with tactics to see what would happen. I decided to use the pressing tactic. I have used every tactic except for Attack In the Middle. WSp decided to play there starters for some reason and I messed up my line-up. I played a 4-4-2 instead of a 3-5-2. Its no problem it should not effect my standing in my series.
At White Sox Pride Arena, 1146 punters turned up, and despite threatening clouds at the horizon, no rain came. White had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Obrien - Petkov, Rivera, Almgård - Ulfsten, Baugh, Björkén, Good, Hansson - Dewitt, Merrill.
Shaw_Shanksters started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. They fielded: Jack - Burgess, Quigley, Wilson, Denson - Quinn, Pieron, Adamson, Siegenthaler - Beck, Dell'Asta.
FIRST HALF
Fine winger Johan Ulfsten made one of his many passes from the wing into the middle in the 30:th minute. David Dewitt went to the air and hit the ball firmly with his forehead for 1 - 0.
In the games 33rd minute White´s Darwin Rivera fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Darwin Rivera for taking a dive.
Halftime score was 1 - 0. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by White, with an impressive 69 percent possession of the ball.
SECOND HALF
Johan Ulfsten was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the enemy box - Frank Merrill managed to kick one of them into 2 - 0 in the 72nd minute.
Marc Good squirmed himself through the central defense line in the 75:th minute, asserting the lead to 3 - 0.
The away team reduced the score to 3 - 1, as Claudio Dell'Asta struck home, set up well by a play from the left in the 78:th minute.
White, bringing the final ball possession rate to 75 percent, dominated the battle.
White´s best player was Johan Ulfsten. Bozhidar Petkov on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Shaw_Shanksters player was Stanley Jack. However, Kirk Wilson made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 1.

I feel like talking college football today. Tomorrow I will explain my training program and give updates. Today since Nebraska will be playing later today, I’m going to enlighten you readers about some college football.
Connecticut @ Virginia Tech
Kevin Jones will continue to show why he is the best running back in the nation. I expect at least 170 rushing yards and over two touchdowns. I still do not think that Virginia Tech will compete for a National Championship or a BCS bowl bid. I just do not think that defense has enough stopping power to beat Miami and maybe Pittsburgh. The combination of Bryan Randall, Kevin Jones, and Ernest Wilford have been deadly on offense for the Hokies. Wilford and Jones should be going to the next level. At 6-4 and 221 pounds Wilford does not have great speed he does have good hands. He might be a 4-5th round pick, but any team that picks him is getting one hell of a deal. Virginia Tech should win this one big 42-20.
Minnesota @ Penn State
Big Ten football is here. A great early season match-up between a pretender and a contender. I expect big things from Minnesota in the Big Ten conference this season. They did play a cupcake out of conference schedule. So far the Gophers toughest opposition has been Ohio. The senior quarterback Asad Abdul-Khaliq will have to step it up for the Golden Gophers. Marion Barber III the red zone specialist has already rushed for 10 touchdowns and leads the nation in scoring. This Saturday Minnesota gets its first taste of Big Ten defense. Penn State’s defense has done pretty decent this season. It has been the offense that has ruined Penn State’s season so far. Minnesota has two Big Ten games before they face Michigan. This should be a tough match, but Minnesota will get it done 28-17
Washington State @ Oregon
The Ducks are riding high after they dismantled the Wolverines. This week they face one of the contenders for the Pac-10 championship. As with most Pac-10 match-ups I expect both teams to be passing the ball early and often. I do worry about Oregon using the quarter back rotation. Clemens has looked better at the helm for Oregon, but Fife gets playing time when the coaching staff is looking for a little senior leadership on an important drive. Clemens has passed for 729 yards, 59% completion, and a 7/0 touchdown to interception ratio. Matt Kegel has finally got his chance at Washington State to start and now needs to prove himself that he was the right guy to start. A big early season conference match-up. I like Oregon, because they play a little more defense 31-20.
South Carolina @ Tennessee
Good old Rocky Top put a whooping on Florida last week. This week they face a smash mouth, run the ball down your throat South Carolina team. Lou Holtz has his Cocks motivated. They are ready to make a run for a SEC title. Does South Carolina have the talent? Doubt it. Tennessee does have the talent, but can they stay focused for the whole season. The Vols better not over look the Gamecocks. Otherwise, they will get beat really easy. Daccus Turman, Demetris Summers, and Dondrial Pinkins will be ready to run against the Tennessee defense. Will the Tennessee defense be up for the challenge? I think so. Tennessee wins in a defensive struggle 20-9.

Training – Winger Week 7
Overall Player Form
1 Wretched
1 Weak
3 Inadequate
7 Passable
6 Solid
2 Excellent
Winger Training this Week
First of all let me give you the reader a look at my trainees. Then I will give a rundown of training this week and weeks passed.
Player – Age – Winger Skill/Passing Skill
Anders Dahlstrom – 18 – Passable/Solid
Christopher Boyd – 17 – Excellent/Poor
Daniel Siegenthaler – 17 – Passable/Inadequate
Rusty Quinn – 18 – Passable/Inadequate
So far all of my trainees have popped. Dahlstrom was the first to pop he should soon be popping to excellent. Boyd was a youth pull and he popped after one week of training, but has not been in the training program as long as the other trainees. He still a ways off before he hits formidable winger. Quinn was another youth pull, but he was pulled before I started my winger training program. He has only been two weeks at passable winger. Siegenthaler is from the transfer market and he has had five weeks of winger training and still is far from solid.
Ernest Quarles
If you did not read my dynasty before let me explain who Ernest Quarles is. Ernest Quarles is the greatest Shaw Shanksters youth pull ever. He was a 17 year old solid keeper. He was sold for a big amount and he single handedly saved the Shaw Shanksters. Now I follow Ernest around and keep track of his training. This week was a big landmark week of training for Ernest. He finally has broke the 2 million value mark.
Belongs to Gauchos FC in Argentina.
Ernest Quarles (11676496) 18 years, solid form, healthy
A popular guy who is balanced and honest.
Has disastrous experience and inadequate leadership abilities.
Nationality: USA
Assessed value: 2 155 000 US$
Wage: 6 096 US$/week including 20% Bonus

After freezing my balls off while yelling and screaming last night watching some high school football, it is time to talk some real football. Puff the Magic Dragon, eh (Meet The Parents reference), remember that Aesyrqwe.

I've seen all of the KC games this year (living in Lawrence and all)- and I think this is the game they have the best shot to lose so far. So far they have looked scarily good. Super Bowl good. However, they're looking ahead to Denver and they're starting to think they can just roll the ball our there and score points. Still, early in the season with no weather, KC's offense will be hard to slow down. Whether they can keep this up in December and January when the defense will actually have to stay on the field for some of the game, that will remain to be seen.

Kansas City has to take it easy on Priest. They need him healthy later on when the playoff race heats up. I can bet you that Priest won't catch any balls and won't get more than 16 carries. Larry Johnson and Tony Richardson should see some decent playing time.
Also with the Chiefs very average wide receiver core they will get manhandled by the Baltimore D.

Texas Pharaos @ Shaw Shanksters
Pre-Game – The Bots and the Evil Rain Machine
Before the game GM Superman was getting ready for another big day at Freeman Park. It was a beautiful sunny day at the park. Superman was hoping of a sellout. In his executive suite atop of Freeman Park where he could see the Shaw Shanksters and the bot team warming up. He wondered why a team made of titanium parts and super computers for brains could suck so bad at soccer. A really old smart person once told him that a team needs hart to win. An emotionless team will never win in any sport, just look at the Chicago White Sox. A red light started to flash, Superman picked up the phone and began to talk to his secretary. His secretary told him that the Texas general manager wanted to meet with him before the game.
Superman met with the Texas GM, who called himself TP7EE. During that conversation TP7EE announced his devious plan for the destruction of the Shaw Shanksters. At that instant TP7EE unleashed the Evil Rain Machine. TP7EE explained that this machine would cause rain to ruin your field and your fan’s spirit. Superman then explained that it would not matter because his team has heart.
We shall see what happens in the showdown in the rain….
15460 spectators had found their way to Freemen Park, despite the heavy rain.
Team Attitude: Play it Cool
Shaw_Shanksters tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination. The following players had been chosen: Jack - Quigley, Lewis - Boyd, Pieron, Gunter, Wilson, Dahlström - Tagle Paredes, Brandstetter, Beck.
Pharaos had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. They fielded: Mcdonough - Weiner, Hicks, Silverman, Sanchez - Christian, Rensink, Lindley, Wilson - Morgan, Israel.
First Half
In the first minute Quinton Lewis the central defender scored the first goal of the game, 1-0 Shaw Shanksters. Anders Dahlstrom was breaking ankles when he managed to score the second goal for the Shaw Shanksters, 2-0 Shaw Shanksters. Once again Quinton Lewis drove the ball down the field juking and jiving to put another goal in for the Shaw Shanksters. Kenneth Beck’s speedy charge made the bot defenders look plain wak as he scored another goal to make 4-0 Shaw Shanksters. After that Coach N-Hizzle decided to play it safe and pull back into a defensive zone. Later on in the half one of the bots went down after one of the Shaw Shanksters broke his shin. The bot started bleeding oil onto the field and was eventually towed off the field.
The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Shaw_Shanksters, with an impressive 73 percent possession of the ball.
Second Half
Coming out into the second half the bots decided to play dirty after one of the bots went down. Walter Brandstetter was the target of a bot tackle. He could not get off the field and was taken off the pitch clutching his foot. Claudio Dell’Asta came on as the sub. To finish off the game Renato Tagle Paredes, Kennteh Beck, Claudio Dell’Asta, and Kirk Wilson each scored a goal to make it 8-0 Shaw Shanksters.
The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Shaw_Shanksters, with an impressive 81 percent possession of the ball.
Most important Shaw_Shanksters player was Stanley Jack. Kenneth Beck on the other hand, had a terrible day.

Another showdown with my good friend Aes, owner of White Sox Pride. Today I decide to use the AIM (attack in middle) tactic for the match. After the match I was very pleased with what the tactics did to my team.
Shaw Shanksters @ White Sox Pride
1083 spectators had come to White Sox Pride Arena this cloudy day.
White had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation. The following players had been chosen: Ramos - Bruno, Petkov, Linin - Spann, Peron, French, Gah-Fat - Cantu, Lancaster, Merrill.
Shaw_Shanksters started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Jack - Quigley, Burgess, Yanez - Siegenthaler, Pieron, Wilson, Adamson, Quinn - Beck, Dell'Asta.
First Half
White were relying on their weak ability to counter-attack. Shaw_Shanksters clearly preferred attacks in the middle.
Man, what a shot by Kirk Wilson! Firing from 35 yards he didn't give the enemy goalie a chance and it was 0 - 1.
After 24 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Claudio Dell'Asta who increased Shaw_Shanksters´s lead to 0 - 2.
A well placed corner kick from Freddie Yanez was followed by Paul Adamson´s hard but accurate header. The nice combination meant goal for Shaw_Shanksters. The result now 0-3.
37 minutes into the game Shaw_Shanksters were awarded a penalty and Freddie Yanez was able to increase the visitors lead to 0 - 4 rolling the ball in by the right post. After this Shaw_Shanksters lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts.
The teams went for a half-time break at 0 - 4. Shaw_Shanksters held the ball, with a clear 65 percent possession rate.
Second Half
The home side attempted to get through in the middle and had a good chance of pulling one back as Darren Cantu tried lifting the ball over goalie Stanley Jack. Typically, the ball went just over the bar.
Shaw_Shanksters, bringing the final ball possession rate to 72 percent, dominated the battle.
The most dominating Shaw_Shanksters player was without a doubt Stanley Jack. Freddie Yanez on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 4.

NFL Picks: 8-6
College Picks: 3-1
My NFL picks were pretty decent last week. I almost predicted the Raiders' score exactly. Since it is Thursday and Miami will be playing later I will give my College picks today.
Clemson (3-1)(1-0) @ Maryland (3-2)(0-1)
After Maryland started the season 0-2 the Terps have rebounded to go 3-2. Their last three games have all been cupcakes and have not faced a real contender since Florida State. Clemson just came off a big win against Georgia Tech, 39-3. Charlie Whitehurst leads the agressive passing attack of Clemson. He has passed for 9 touchdowns and has a completion percentage over 60%. I like Clemson in a shootout, 34-27.
Oregon St. (4-1)(1-0) @ California (3-3)(1-0)
The Beaver offense has been very impressive this year. Averaging near 500 yards per game and over 30 points per game. Derek Anderson has been decent at quarterback, but has thrown a lot of interceptions, 7TD/10INT. Cal has come off one of the biggest upsets in school history and it looks like they have finally found their running game. I'll take Oregon St., 28-24.
#14 Kansas State (4-1)(0-0) @ #13 Texas (3-1)(0-0)
The battle of the softies. If Kansas State knows what they are doing they should give it to Sproles at least 25 times this game. Good news for K-State is they get Ell Roberson back. Texas needs to open up the passing game some more with a 10TD/0INt ration they should be passing it at least 45 times. I like Texas to pull this one out, 24-17.
Tomorrow I will have the training report up.

[Knock on the door]
Superman: Please enter.
[Jose Medico the team doctor enters]
Jose Medico: Sir all the tests on Walter Brandstetter's foot have been finished.
Superman: What is the final assesment of the injury?
Jose Medico: It looks like he will be out for three weeks with two dislocated toes.
Superman: What about Freddie Yanez?
Jose Medico: His knee is at full health, but is struggling with his form. It should be awhile before he gets back to full form and his knee is 100%.
Superman: I'll bring in a few more doctors to help out.

Training - Winger Week 8
Overall Player Form
1 Wretched
1 Poor
6 Inadequate
6 Passable
4 Solid
1 Excellent
Freddie Yanez remains in wretched form after coming off a 6 week injury. He struggles to get one star.
Rusty Quinn is at excellent form and just received his first three star preformance.
Winger Training This Week
Player - Age - Winger Skill - Assesed Value
Anders Dahlstrom - 18 - Passable - $129,000
Christopher Boyd - 17 - Excellent - $90,000
Daniel Siegenthaler - 17 - Passable - $27,000
Rusty Quinn - 18 - Passable - $105,000
Anders Dahlstrom should be close to solid winger. Can't wait till he pops he may be a keeper for my team. Boyd still has a ways to go to get to formidable. Quinn should be getting close to solid. I was thinking about replacing Siegenthaler with another trainee. I'll see if I can find anything on the market.
Currently I'm looking for a solid and experinced playmaker and a winger trainee on the market.
Overall Player Worth: $1,481,000
Average Player Worth: $77,947.36
I'll be back later maybe with a transfer market report, and some football picks.

Transfer Market Movement
For $25,000 I brought a new winger trainee.
Witthaya Fakthong (16839661)
17 years, passable form, healthy
A sympathetic guy who is balanced and honest.
Has disastrous experience and poor leadership abilities.
Nationality: Prathet Thai
Assessed value: 45 000 US$
Wage: 840 US$/week including 20% Bonus
Owner: Shaw_Shanksters
Warnings: 0
Stamina: poor Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: weak Passing: weak
Winger: passable Defending: poor
Scoring: inadequate Set Pieces: wretched
This transfer market buy has made Daniel Siegenthaler obsolete. He has gone on the transfer market with a opening price of $1,000.
I finally got my solid playmaker. For less than $100,000 I am pretty happy it only cost me $50,000 to get him.
Roberto Ingold (12275529)
28 years, weak form, healthy
A controversial person who is balanced and upright.
Has poor experience and wretched leadership abilities.
Nationality: Schweiz
Assessed value: 90 000 US$
Wage: 1 392 US$/week including 20% Bonus
Owner: Shaw_Shanksters
Warnings: 0
Stamina: passable Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: solid Passing: weak
Winger: disastrous Defending: poor
Scoring: inadequate Set Pieces: inadequate
He has bad form, but it should only take a few weeks before he is back up to league form. Once he gets to passable form, he should start for the league games.
Roberto Ingold and Witthaya Fakthong should play big parts in the Shaw Shanksters' future.

Shaw Shanksters @ Las Vegas Eagles
Due to an all-day shower, 4033 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Las Vegas Arena.
Eagles started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Ingram - Hahn, Bartlett, Diggs, Chambers - Waggoner, Mcalister, Murray, Peters - Heller, Hamilton.
Shaw_Shanksters started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. Lineup: Jack - Quigley, Lewis - Dahlström, Pieron, Gunter, Wilson, Boyd - Tagle Paredes, Beck, Dell'Asta.
First Half
As the Shaw Shanksters started off the match they were cocky and suffered from over confidence. Over confidence is bad for any team. Would the Shaw Shanksters lose this match?
I doubt it. Not much happened in the first 25 minutes of the game. We suffered a little confusion from using the 2-5-3.
Finally in the 39th minute Bryan Quigly the wingback was able to put one in. The Shaw Shanksters over confidence was really effecting their play. Kenneth Beck was able to break free, but totally choked on the shot.
0 - 1 was the half-time score. Shaw_Shanksters held the ball, with a clear 64 percent possession rate.
Second Half
Coach Nate Henderson was furious at his team. He was able to bring the Shaw Shanksters back down to earth. He also went over the tactics of the 2-5-3.
Forrest Bartlett of the Eagles was tackled by Quinton Lewis and his shin was broken.
Anders Dahlstrom received a free kick and knocked it another goal unassisted. A few minutes after that Jon Gunter made the goal of the month with a spectacular scissors kick.
To finish off the game Christopher Boyd scored a goal on a quick charge from the left side. Shaw_Shanksters held the ball, with a clear 64 percent possession rate.
4-0 WIN

Shaw Shanksters @ Therealajax
A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 989 to therealajax Arena.
therealajax had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Berends - Grinwis, van Lamoen, Sheehy - Dülken, Steiner, Hofmeijer, Hayes, Flodstad - van Enschede, Johansson.
Shaw_Shanksters started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. They fielded: Jack - Yanez, Denson, Burgess - Quinn, Pieron, Ingold, Adamson, Fakthong - Beck, Dell'Asta.
FIRST HALF
Jan-Kees Hayes seemed highly inexperienced when in the 30:th minute he was loitering with the ball, allowing Roberto Ingold to intercept and strike 0-1 for Shaw_Shanksters.
Shaw_Shanksters´s Claudio Dell'Asta received a play slashing through the home side´s defense in the 32nd minute, chipping it past the keeper scoring 0 - 2.
The away team´s Roberto Ingold took advantage of a mistake to the home side´s right in the 37:th minute increasing Shaw_Shanksters´s lead to 0 - 3.
Halftime score was 0 - 3. Shaw_Shanksters held the ball, with a clear 68 percent possession rate.
SECOND HALF
In the 59:th minute the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 4 as Timo Pieron finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick.
Kenneth Beck increased the visitors lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 0 - 5.
The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Shaw_Shanksters, with an impressive 76 percent possession of the ball.
The match ends 0 - 5.

The Shaw Shanksters are finally back from Amsterdam. Just going to give a few updates on the club before a full training report tonight or tomorrow morining.
Economy
Like said before we should lose around $50,000 this week and should end up around $55,000 in the bank.
VI.541 Updated Standings
Series: VI.541 (27877)
Country: USA
Level: 6 out of 6
Team Played Goals Points
1. Shaw_Shanksters 11 64 - 4 33
2. Philadelphia Heroes 11 30 - 16 28
3. Texas Pharaos 11 24 - 32 16
4. Hawaii Bears 11 19 - 25 13
5. Vermont Samurais 11 16 - 23 12
6. Las Vegas Eagles 11 9 - 26 10
7. Texas Eagles 11 13 - 24 9
8. Arizona Pharaos 11 8 - 33 6
As you can see the Shaw Shanksters are coasting to a series championship and promotion. The Philly Heroes are still hanging around behind us. We still have to face them one more time, but we should easily beat them.
Next Week's Friendly
I scheduled a friendly with my good friend GM-Spidurman. We will be playing SpiderZone at the Web. It should be a great game. I know Spidurman from my days in division 5. I never could beat him. This might be my only chance. :)
I'll have some football thoughts later and of course the training update.

College Picks Last Week: 1-2
Overall Record: 4-3
I'll try to rebound this week with some better picks. Lot of good games this week to pick from.
Michigan @ Minnesota
One of the most over rated teams in the pre-season versus one of the most under rated team in the pre-season. I think Minnesota pulls this one off because the Michigan special teams will blow it again, 19-16 Minnesota.
Northwestern @ Indiana
If your not from the midwest you probaly did not know that these teams played in the Big Ten. They do and they are both really crappy. Northwestern has the better offense anneither team can play defense. I like Northwestern 31-21.
Ohio St. @ Wisconsin
It all ends here. At least i hope it does. I don't think Ohio St. can pull it out on the road against the Badgers. I see a low scoring game, 17-13 Wisconsin.
Oklahoma @ Texas
Bevo gets beat like a drum again this year, 28-13 Oklahoma.
Miami @ Florida St.
The seminoles will return to the top with a big win over a banged up Miami squad. It should all come down to Rix and Berlin, and whoever can manage their offense better. I like FSU 27-23.

Lets talk a little fantasy football. Week 5 was to good for me fantasy wise. I am still very competitive in all leagues I am involved with. I am hoping for multiple Yahoo! Fantasy Football Championships.
My Week in Fantasy Football
Ahman Green, Green Bay Packers
As long as the Packers stay commited to a balanced offense Green should keep turning in hundred yard performances. Just don't fumble the ball Green. I just wished he would catch the ball a little more.
Tommy Maddox, Pittsburgh Steelers
Maddox has been absolute crap the last 3 weeks. This week he put up -4 fantasy points for the Manwhich Maneaters I. With those wide receivers he has got he has to put up more than -4 fantasy points. Tommy Gun has turned into Tommy Bum.
Antonio Bryant, Dallas Cowboys
I still think Bryant is very talented and after about 1-2 more seasons he could be on the level of Moss, Harrison, and Owens. The only problem I have with him is that he did absolutely nothing against the Cardinals one of the worst defenses in the league. Hopefully he could develop some consistency.
Clinton Portis, Denver Broncos
Portis is quickly becoming the best back in football. He out dueled Priest Holmes and Portis looks sharp after coming off the chest injury. I expect more of the same against the Steelers defense.
Stephen Davis, Carolina Panthers
Davis is my most consistent player on any of my fantasy football teams. Davis will get a tough test this week against the Indianapolis defense. Davis is going to run all over the league just to prove the Redskins wrong.
Moe Willaims, Minnesota Vikings
No one thought Moe would last this long as the starting running back for the Vikings. Having his starting spot challeneged by a rookie has improved Moe's play. All it takes is a little motivation to make a player the best he can be. Another strong two TD performance from Moe in Week 5.
