OK, I know we all receive BS stuff like this via the internet. However, this one came straight from the source. I have a friend who works for a corporate recruiter. She reads resumes and checks references for a good bit of the day. The following reference was received by her today. I decided that I will NOT boldface the, uh, interesting text, but will do so in the next post. Read on and see if you catch it.

I picked up on that but thought to myself, "Maybe he has a package that's crisp and professional."

During the interview...

"While looking over my resume I would also like you to consider this... "

Well, if that's the case then it's no wonder that the "Big 8" firms were after him.

Or perhaps a package that was cocky and funny?

Anybody remember this line from the classic film Porky's?

"Why do they call you Meat?" unzzzzzzip "Oh!"

That could be a great recomendation if he's trying to get a job in a porn film.

This was a particularly well constructed sentence:

He put together and got approved our HMO managed care program then he ran it.

But that package statement... :)

This was the one that got me. Sure, the package one made me laugh, but as a supervisor I'd have a hard time trusting a source who would write that line.

I would add to this and say the person would have to ace the interview, but I know exactly what that would be followed with. :)

I love the fact that the reference couldn't even write complete sentences for his/her answers. Some of these questions deserve a paragraph response!

Sounds like typical responses from top level executives who think they're time is too valuable for silly things like this.
