Saw on another board that Man-Ram has been suspended, presumably by the Red Sox. Can anyone confirm?

Haven't seen anything on boston.com or redsox.com yet but apparently WEEI 850AM is reporting it.

I wonder how they'll blame this one on Jimy Williams?

Does this have to do with him being spotted in a hotel bar when he was too sick to play?

No one has blamed anything on Jimy in a few years and that was the old owners. Nice to see the new ones actually take disciplinery actions against their players. This will destroy the team chemistry for the rest of the season though.

Nice to see the curse of the Bambino is still at full strength.

That, and apparently he missed a scheduled meeting with the team doctor on Sunday, then didn't even show up for the game on Monday.

Has anyone seen an official statement yet? These things usually happen quickly but I haven't found anything yet. Makes me wonder if this is false info.

I just watched them report on Sportscenter that he did not go drinking with Enrique Wilson, he just said hello to him in the Hotel Lobby and that story got some legs and grew a little...

So I have no idea what the full story is..
