Ken Coleman, the Red Sox radio guy for 20 years, died today at the age of 78 from complications from bacterial meningitis.

Basically, this was the guy who lulled me to sleep on an old AM radio at night, listening to the Sox's triumphs and tragedies. vaya Con Dios :(

Him, and Buck, Mel Allen, some of the voices of baseball's history.. hope there's a league in heaven and they get to call the games.. and I hope that some day and some way, we'll get to listen to em.

Yeah, but God is probably a Yankees fan. Better sell your soul and see if you can get Red Sox games in hell.

You're saying a team owned by the windbag scumbag Steinbrenner that plays in a stadium with no soul, that threatens to leave at the drop of a hat, that buys players services and souls is the favored of God?

Now the Red Sox aren't high up in the rankings either.. but to say the Yankees are... grrr...

'Course he is.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Never said anything about the World Series.
