Week 2 of the preseason is over, week 3 is coming up. Hang in there guys, someday, very soon, we'll have some real football games :)

You can see the results after two weeks of preseason football by clicking here (http://dynamic2.gamespy.com/~fof/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=209057#post209057)

Here's what I have written down for now in terms of rules:
Simply pick the winner against the spread for 4 games in order of your confidence.
Points will be given or taken from your season total score depending on if you picked the winner or not in your 4 games.
Game #1 is worth 4 points, #2 is worth 3 points, #3 is worth 2 points, and #4 is worth 1 point.
If a game ends in a tie with the spread, you don't win or lose any point for it.
Your picks must be posted in this thread before kickoff of the earliest of your 4 games. Failure to do so will invalidate your week of play (you will get no points).
You can start playing at any time during the course of the season.
I will usually post the results of the week (and the season so far) on Tuesday in a new thread that will include the spreads for the coming week.
I plan on taking my spreads from intertops.com. If intertops doesn't have a line for a game, I will take the average line presented on the usatoday spreads page. Once they have been posted in here, they will not change over the course of the week.
DO NOT EDIT YOUR PICKS once you have posted them in the thread, unless you sent me a PM to let me know.
I might add more notes to this if necessary. I have not set a maximum number of players, whoever wants in can play, as long as they follow the rules and post their picks in here, following the format explained below.

I know that preseason is a crapshoot, but we will reset before the regular season starts. Preseason play is simply to help me work out the kinks and see if my excel setup is viable. Thanks for playing even though you could care less about preseason results. This should be fun during the regular season.

It's quite a good thing we will be starting anew with the regular season, as I have just hit the worst possible week, 0 out of 4... :(

I'll post the lines for the final preseason week in a separate thread in a few minutes...
