View Full Version : Exporting Draft Classes to Madden?

This will be my first Madden game in quite a few years. I was wondering if anyone knew the requirements for importing a draft class from NCAA to Madden. Do I have to import a class into the same year that they were exported from? For example, can I take an exported draft class form 2012 and import it in Madden in 2004? Also, has the importing/exporting worked well in the past? Or is the talent pool affected, such as in TCY/FOF?

The game does it automatically. It knows the year. But you can only export like 7 years worth before it says you have to start deleting classes.

So if I export the class of 2012 for NCAA then I can't import them until year 2012 of Madden?

Is there any way to view the draft class after exporting them, but before importing them?

You can. Any class you import into Madden will be considered just having graduated. So you can export your 2012 NCAA class into your first draft in Madden 2004 (i.e., 2004 draft). No problemo at all. Or you could export your 2004 NCAA class into 2012 Madden.

You can't, as far as I know, examine the draft class after exporting but before importing. What I always did was make a written report on the top 32 rated players (juniors and seniors) and make a list of the top 5 by position.

It's been about a year, but I think after you import them, you can still examine the draft class. Hmmmm... not sure....

After you import them, yes, you can examine the draft class. But between exporting and importing, I don't think you can. Or at least I never found a way to do it. Dunno if I ever tried though.

Ok, I think you are correct, then. I thought you were talking about after you import them.

let hope it not like last year in ncaa, where they made it where some people left early, but then never showed up in the draft class. Now this happened in my played dynasty, the first time it happened it was chad owens from Hawaii, he wasnt rated very well, but had an awesome season, left after his junior year, but then didnt enter the draft, it happened to me about 4 or 5 times... and i thought thats a little extreme, I mean how often does a player leave school after a spectacular season, and not enter the draft, heh, maybe he went to the cfl. lol
