Hey!

Just to let y'all know, I'm going to be playing in public twice this week in metro Atlanta. The first is Wednesday Night at The Celtic Tavern (http://www.acousticopenmic.com) in Conyers. It is an Open Mic night, and usually some of the musicians stick around after it is over to play a few more songs. I'll be getting there around 8:30pm or so, and probably play some time around 9 or 9:30. It is a nice little hang-out joint. (good spinach dip...)

The second time is a full-fledged show. I'll have the stage to myself for 90 minutes or so on Saturday night at The Sycamore Tree Coffee House (http://www.sycamorecoffee.com) in Stone Mountain. I'll be playing several tunes from the CD, several covers, and maybe even a new song or two :p. I'll be starting around 8:30pm. Word is that the coffee at this joint is GREAT. (I wouldn't know. Not a coffee drinker here...)

I know there's no cover charge at the Celtic Tavern. I don't THINK there is at The Sycamore Tree either, but I'm not certain of that. I've never been to a show there.

--Ben

EDIT--Added the time to The Sycamore Tree info...

Doggone it. I finally manage to schedule a trip I've been trying to take since February (I'll be appearing here (http://www.parkplace.com/grandcasino/tunica/) ) and then you announce this.

And I'll be missing good coffee too. :(

Next time, more advance notice please.

Break a leg.

Damn, you couldn't wait until late August, when I'll be coming back to Atlanta? ;)

Oh well, good luck!

Break a leg. My bad. I've been out of town for most of this week, and didn't have the details about the show next Saturday. My goal is to land a gig at Eddie's Attic before the end of 2K3. I'll DEFINITELY give plenty of notice for that one if it happens. :)

Oh well, good luck! Unfortunately, I have back-to-back Friday night all-night lock-ins (one high school and one middle school) the middle two weekends of August. (I HATE doing it, but it is a GREAT way to start off the school year with a bang.) I'll be toast for pretty much the whole weekend both times, and I need to reserve SOME time for the wife. :p

Bah, the wife! ;)

I'll be coming back the 3rd week, I believe. Law School starts on the last week of August.

Jon's been holding out of us. If we promise to be good, will you treat us to a little "Secret Agent Man?"

My wife always sing that as "Secret Asian Man." :)

With the new baby, I'll have to play it by ear. I might be able to be at one of two, but not for certain.

What day are you going to be at the Sycamore Tree Coffee House?

I would like to come to one of the two shows - probably the one in Conyers, but I love a good coffee house too.

Still waiting on the SkyDog Live PPV :D

I saw the news letter announcement. Sorry, just a bit too far of a commute to see it. Hope all goes well.

Dola--

It looks like I'll be getting the master of the live songs later this week.

I'm actually speaking in Conyers tonight. I might try to swing the whole family by for a sec tonight, but that will be completely up to little Simon's mood.

SWMBO is having the freshman (well, soon to be sophomore) girls over to the house tonight again, and I'm cooking hamburgers on the grill for them. They're coming at 7:30, but I don't have to stay once I get the burgers cooked, so I should be there earlier than I thought. (I can only handle 12 giggly 15-year-old girls for so long....)
