I'm really curious in seeing how much they have developed with the break. They got more interesting as a band as they went on.

Oh sorry, back to all of the dick and blow jobs references, lyrics with having sex with granddads and everything else that made Blink so "interesting."

Wonder what will happen with the rest of the bands. Never really heard much from +44 or the Transplants, but DeLong's Angels & Airwaves was the shit.

I'm hoping that your post about them being interesting was you being facetious. Anybody who isn't female and under the age of 15 should not be listening to Blink 182.

I would add Boxcar Racer. The side projects will probably forever be axed, but they'll likely be closer sounding to those projects versus being old school Blink.

Considering they haven't put out an album since 2004, your statement has no real weight to it. FYI, Travis Barker got a lot of recognition from drum magazines like Modern Drummer, so it's not like the band was without talent.

Can anyone give me an update on the status of Sum 41? I didn't like them back in their juvenile deliquent days, but they really got more intriguing as a...I don't even want to say a band..but a musical entity, as time went on.
Plus, I think they once got lauded in an issue of Modern Flaming Garbage...so you know they had some talent.

I never got into Sum 41 .. Unfortunatley for them, Puddle of Mudd came out around the same time, and well, I think it's obvious which procured my entertainment dollars.

Puddle Of Mudd is an amazing story, but even more amazing is the story of Fred Durst discovering them. He actually found talent where there was no talent. He didn't listen to anyone, including Puddle of Mudd themselves, who might have dared to say "No, Fred, these guys are truly horrible".
Nah, man. Durst just came back at 'em all like "If you don't let me keep rollin' rollin' rollin', I might just have to break stuff. So let's get everybody N2gether now, have faith, cause we doin it my way, and you can take your cookie, and stick it up your YEAH!"

Quick look on wikipedia shows they have a greatest hits album(rerelease of the Japanese version) coming out and then another new album on top of that.
