I know a handful of us true nerds were into the pen and paper RPG's (or still are). Eons ago, I played in a few Vamp: Masquerade and/or full World of Darkness/White Wolf games on IRC. Lot of people set up channels to just hop in and play. Idiots aside, it was kinda fun.
For some reason, I got a bug up my ass to try and convert a MUD to a little area for some open-ended persistant place to play old school Vampire. Not really combat oriented, just some amusing cold-war/screw each other over/power struggle RPing. The coding part is simplistic to do. The trouble is, of course, the genre leads itself to a great deal of idiots, and I haven't the foggiest where else to try and recruit some people who'd be interested.
Since we have a widdddde variety of folks here...this sound interesting/fun to anyone?
