I don't think there is any way that Clint Eastwood doesn't get a nomination for Best Director with "Letters from Iwo Jima" (haven't seen it or "Flags of Our Fathers", but Letters is getting amazing reviews).

I predict Sacha Baron Cohen will get a Best Actor nomination.

Well he might get a nomination, but I didn't predict him because he didn't get a DGA nomination, and his film didn't get PGA or SAG nominations. It still has a shot but it's became overshadowed by other films at the end of the awards season.

Sorry, but the best movie I saw in 2006 was Apocalypto.

Ugh... I wouldn't nominate Apolcalypto. Maybe it can get a foriegn language nod, but that's as far as I go.

Here's how I did...

Picture - 4 for 5 (Dreamgirls instead of Letters from Iwo Jima)
Director - 3 for 5 (Little Miss Sunshine and Dreamgirls instead of Letters From Iwo Jima and United 93)
Actor - 5 for 5
Supporting Actor - 4 for 5 (DiCaprio instead of Honsou)
Actress - 5 for 5
Supporting Actress - 5 for 5

Overall - 26 out of 30

Isiddiqui was right about Clint Eastwood, but even if I had predicted him, I would not have got rid of the Dreamgirls director to do it, so it's a wash.
