Yeah, I thought that too. But no way she looked that old a few years back.

Sanaa hasn't been in movies that have had a wide appeal. Most of her films have been African American themed films, except for AVP. That may have something to do with the reason she isn't as well known around here as say Halle Berry or Angela Bassett. But she is definitely a very talented actress who've I've enjoyed watching.

Doesn't mean she's not a celebrity, just means she's a celebrity who's movies have not been seen by a majority of the people here.

I seen Out of Time. Good movie and she had a pretty good performance. Seen the Best Man as well, but have yet to see Brown Sugar or Love and Basketball. With that said, I am not sure why people are jumping on you for this poll. Just make a vote after viewing the pics. It's that easy. Actually there have been only a few that I voted hot (charlize) and a few I didn't (camel-lips, madonna, diaz), the rest I just don't have a strong opinion on one way or another, like Kiera, so I abstain. There have been some that came up that others thought it would score near 100% but actually didn't come close. That's the good thing about diverse opinions and the freedom to say so.

Interestingly, I don't think I was as open prior to living in El Paso for 8 years. At first, Hispanic women didn't appeal to me; now, they do just as much if not more so. I think it's a combination of being immersed in the "culture" as well as being older and more mature.

Personally, I just vote on the people that I've seen in multiple settings. Anyone can look good in a well done glamour shot and some people look good in one movie, but look like crap in another. The more you've seen them, the better idea you have if someone is actually hot or not. This reminds me of going on a blind date with a friend's friend in college. She showed me a pic of her from one of those glamour shot places. She was definitely an 8.5 in the pic. Picked her up and she was definitely a 2.5. :( I still have no idea how the photographer got all of her nose in the pic without it casting a shadow on the rest of her body.

She still did better than Madonna. That's something.

I had no idea who this person was when the thread originally came out, but she was definitely hot on Nip/Tuck this season.

Man, this sure was a bitchfest for a while.. It seems the claws have retracted however, and this should hopefully deteriorate into a quipfest and make about 4 full pages by the time someone kills it.
