Sucks to be you. ;)
Actually, after I finished my thesis, 15 page papers didn't seem quite so daunting.
What's it on?

I took the length of the average word and multipled it by my thumb. Simple, I am suprised they don't teach that in Wisconsin.

Well, what are you using as the hypotenuse? And are you using Base 60?

I use your mother* as the hypotenuse.
Assuming your mother is healthy and alive. Otherwise I use your sister.
I got nothing.

I think you'll have to use my cousin. She's pretty hot, but I think she has an std. That was the gossip a while back, anyway.

I wrote an 18-page paper in one night back in college. Due to a comedic series of events involving lack of sleep, drooling, and the head of my department, I never found out what my grade for the paper was.
So if you have only 15 pages due by Monday, you have the whole weekend to write it! Get moving!

I have four ten page papers due by the end of next week. One on the four largest religions in America, one on the Bank for International Settlements, one on Performance Accountability/service efforts and accomplishments, and one I forget. But as soon as I turn these in I am officially graduating!
The one and only positive that came out of my accident, didn't have to deal with long papers and finals this semester. Sure, in the long run it screwed me because I have to take all the classes again next semester, but I'm not thinking that far down the road just yet. Good luck.

Oral exams scare me, fifteen page papers? Give me 6 hours, I'll give you an A, or a B, possibly a C.

Ain't seen that since back in the day. Rumor has it that he finally burned down the looney bin and they just put him back on the streets. Mans got to eat Julian. Man loves storebought cheeseburgers.

Oral exams? Cake. Just don't make me write a paper. (Actually, I'm pretty good at writing papers. I'm very bad at written exams).

Ditto, though I never received anything lower than an 88%.
Junior year in a lit class everyone warned me about this one proffesor. He had a 25 page paper that was due at the end of the semester. He was a tough grader, so if you started it late, you were screwed.
Paper was due on a Thursday at 9. I started it Wednesday night at 6. Finished the paper at 3AM. Went to sleep for 5 hours. Woke up, reread the paper (I'm a speed reader), made a couple of quick corrections and turned it in.
98%.
Now Biology class? Or Trig? I'm running for the hills. But a 20 page paper? Give me 8 hours and a working computer and printer and everything will be ok.

Exactly, this is pansy talk. I wrote a 30 page paper in a weekend once and it was good, too. And that's coming from someone in the School of Engineering where we're not even supposed to be able to string together two sentences.

Though not on the same level as a thesis, my pro-seminar History paper ("Alexander the Great was an Alcoholic") definitely made 10-20 page papers look fairly easy.
