View Full Version : F1 2006 starts in a few minutes!!!
Go Alonso!!!!!!
This year is going to be fun with the wheels changes allowed again, it means more strategic decissions.
Now i'm hungry for a F1 manager text sim. Let's see if the maximum football of the F1 text sims can see the light one day:

I had an old copy of that Microprose(?) F1 game. I think I still got it actually. Hard as hell.
I also found the EA Sports version on the web. That one was pretty cool, not as hard and I actually spent time with it.

Not a bad race, too bad ol Jacques's engine didn't last much past half the race. I wonder if there will be any protests over Toro Rosso's performance?
And F1cm just gives enough hope releasing a new alpha just when you want to pound that final nail into the coffin, maybe this is the year?

Yeah... What can I say? Great race by Alonso, really. He did a typical "Schumacher" race: perfect tactic, high rhythm without one single mistake. Alonso is a true champion.
On the other hand, I'm really happy that Ferrari is back on the first positions after the bad 2005 season. I also think Massa would have finished in the first 5/6 positions, if not on the podium, without that error.
Anyway, very good race overall IMO: a lot of interesting duels. I'm looking forward to Malaysian GP next Sunday.

Agree, i'm happy to see Ferarri contending again, this season is going to be fun.
