The Star Wars Trilogy?
Or what about those old Chuck Norris movies called "Missing in Action"? I thought some of those were titled something like "Missing in Action": The Beginning" or something.
Missing in Action 2 (1985) is a bad sequel to a bad movie. Actually, part two is worse than part one. The film is a "prequel" (despite the fact Braddock looks the same as he did in part one). The Colonel is a p.o.w. in "Vietnam". The "N.V.A." officer is portrayed by Korean actor Soon Tek-Oh. Wrestler Prof. Toru Tanaka is a "N.V.A." soldier. Real bad stuff from Cannon Films. Just another Chuck Norris vehicle that was filmed back-to back with Missing in Action. A boring film that has a very lackluster finale. The action is twice as bad, the acting is twice as horrid and the storyline is twice as implausible as the first film. If you have a strong constitution by all means watch Missing in Action 2!!!
The Terminator Trilogy?

Nope, not yet.
Although Starwars has me a little confused. Star Wars 1, 2, and 3 were all listed as prequels, but not sequels.

New seen underworld, but if it took Evolution took place timewise before Underworld then it is a prequel and if it occured after then it is a sequel.

I haven't seen Evolution, but from what I understand Evolution (in filming now) takes place chronologically before the first Underworld (2003).

Red Dragon is a prequel and a remake.
3. Red Dragon is unique in that when it was released, it was a prequel to two previous films (The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal). However, the material it was based on had been filmed as Manhunter several years before Silence. Thus, it was both a prequel and a remake.

The Godfather II? It's not 100% prequel, but there is a large prequel storyline in the film.

So according to wiki, Clone Wars and Revenge of the Sith are both Prequels and Sequels, while Phantom Menace is a prequel only.
Clone Wars is a prequel to Episodes IV, V and VI, and a sequel to Phantom Menace, and the same goes for RoS.

anyway this is where I got my answer.

And, why didn't anyone get my "Girlie-Man" refrence?
I have got to go, so
2. Since Alien vs. Predator is set before the Alien movie series, but chronologically after the Predator series, this movie is both a sequel and a prequel.

Well like I said, Star Wars 1, 2 and 3 are all prequels.. but 2 and 3 are also sequels.. to number 1.. of course.. but not to 4, 5 and 6.. Thus... 2 and 3 are both prequels and sequels.

Actually, the Wikipedia link noted above doesn't specify that A vs. P is the ONLY movie that is both a sequel and a prequel, just that it happens to be one. I think that notation was made because no one saw the freakin' movie and wouldn't know whether it was a sequel or a prequel or to what.
This also brings up an interesting conundrum. Wikiepedia is a fascinating Internet exercise, but it is far from being a "reliable source." Anything where the general public has access to the reference material is always suspect.

No. A prequel is released after the original yet is set earlier in time.

So Star Wars 2 and 3 do count: they were released after 4, 5, and 6 but set before them (prequel), and they were released after 1 and set after it (sequel).

I am assuming that you have to compare all the movies in a series to the "original" and not to different movies in that Series.
So, using the original Star Wars movie as your refrence point; this makes 4 and 5 sequels and 1, 2, and 3 prequels. as far as movies go.
But, in the book world Sart Wars #4 is a sequel as are books 2 through 9.
