Fun fact:
my starting QB, in my long-running FOF career, is named Cris Buggelli.
He was the #1 overall pick in the draft 9 seasons ago. After learning the game for two years behind future Hall of Famer Eric Misner, Cris took over in year 3 and has been worthy of that #1 overall pick status.
To date, entering his 9th pro season, Cris Buggelli has led the 49ers to two Superbowl titles, has been a two-time All-League QB, along with NFL MVP and Offensive Player of the year.
The cool thing is : his little brother, Robbie Buggelli (5-years younger) has entered the league as well, some three years ago as a 2nd round QB.
He was deeemed as a 1st round pick, but quite surprisingly, fell to the New Orleans Saints in the 2nd round.
As I play FOF2, I have the former conference/division alignments which means both 49ers and Saints play in the same NFC West. So here it goes, the two Buggelli brothers square against one another at least twice every seasons.
And to make things "worse", 49ers & Saints happen to be two of the best NFC teams year in, year out so more often than not, we play them AGAIN in the Playoffs !! (that's 3 meetings per year !).
Cris Buggelli....and Robbie Buggelli : a tale of two brother QBs !
