Ouch. This went from a potential no-lose situation to a no-win situation.

I hate it when women turn stuff like this around on us. Our anniversary is next Tuesday, so I'm expecting, at some point, an exchange that goes like this:

Me - "Happy Anniversary, honey. You're still as beautiful as the day I married you and you make me so happy."

Her - "Well thanks, but why couldn't you say something like that last week? When's the last time you said something like that to me?"

Me - "Well, let me check my calendar, you know I learned several years ago that I needed to document my comments to you for just such an occasion as this....Yep - May 12th."

Her - "See, a month and a half!"

Me - "Just take the damn compliment or a month and a half is going to feel like 30 seconds next time."

Naw, it wasn't this thread. I've been on him all week. Ever since Arles called me at work last week to tell me how hot a certian pop star looked in her new video. He went on and on about the boots and the car wash. Then the next night, he woke me up out of REM sleep so I could see the video on MTV. It was all done in complete innocence, and usually I would agree and say I'd hit it or whatnot.

But I'm seven months pregnant and not feeling so sexy. Arles just rubbed me the wrong way. I hate all skinny women right now.
