Can anyone tell me how to succeed regurally at this game. I usually start with a team like Spurs and they can't make the playoffs in my game even once in the Tim Duncan era and I draft the best player in the draft and have 2 all-stars but still have problems and they both retre and I keep getting top 5 picks each year but no success. Through 75 years I got 0 playoff appearances and all the other teams have at least 30 playoff appearances. I'm I just unlucky?

Two words. 75 years??!! And no playoffs? Do you work for the Clippers in real life?

It seems like 75, it is only 20 years. If the Clippers make the playoffs when I am living I will be shocked. The Cubs will win the World Series before the Clippers make the playoffs again. They had made the worst decisions, let go of everyone except Brand which they could trade any minute knowing them. I could run a franchise better then them. On ESPN, the worst teams of the past 25 years(1979-2003) I was shocked that their worst year is only 12-70 in 1986-87 season. I thought they had a season of less than that several times. Stuart Scott said that the franchise is not bad but "badder".

Or you could just keep playing FBB and all the while playing and supporting a comparable game.

I am trying to trade licenses for TPB in exchange for TDCB.

There is a lot of anger and jealousy here directed at Moishe Rothstein, but I can deal, because I gain my strength from my brilliant FBB play and a healthy self esteem.
Booyah!
Damn I need to get this game, it works miracles.

tdydynasty - just FYI there is a new version of Total Pro Basketball out (TPB 2005). Im obviously biased since Im the developer but it blows away TPB 03 so I would suggest picking up the 05 version instead of the 03.
Info and screens are available at www.greydogsoftware.com

There is probably no one who would probably trade a license for TPB 2005 for TDCB. That is why I would want a TPB 2003 license.

Unless you're strapped for cash, why not buy TPB 2005? I've never played version 2003, but I'm not much for the NBA and I'm having fun with 2005. Most people here play FBCB for college basketball.
Good luck though!

it cracks me up, when people want to exchange games by exchanging the license#.
do you really think that person your trading with, is going to give you his license # and then destroy the license # so he wont be able to use it again in the future?
